本校鄰近日月潭與合歡山，為國內重要的休閒與戶外運動據點。 壘球場佔地約1.28公頃，自97年起分兩期建設，設有內外野、牛棚、觀眾席、照明與管理中心等，可舉辦國內外大型賽事。 自104年起在體育署支持下，壘球運動成為暨大推展在地特色運動的重點項目，並結合實作課程與學生組織，讓學生學習活動籌辦與場地維護。
Situated near Sun Moon Lake and Hehuan Mountain, NCNU serves as a key destination for leisure and outdoor sports in Taiwan. The softball field, covering approximately 1.28 hectares, was constructed in two phases starting in 2008. Since 2015, softball has been a focal point in promoting local sports development, integrating hands-on courses and student-led initiatives.
